Associate's Degree - Liberal Arts Seminole State College, 2010 Bachelor's Degree - Creative Writing, Eckerd College 3.65 GPA, 2012 Master's Degree Education, 4.0 GPA, Kaplan University, 2015 Ph.D. Education, 4.0 GPA 2018 I went to college later in life, starting at 50 years young. I tutor children from the 3rd grade to 8th in all subject, 9th grade through Master's Degree in English, Language Arts, Literature, Reading and Writing, History, and test-taking skills. I help students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade prepare for the SAT/ACT and offer a college counseling package which helps you pick a school, major, financial aid, and scholarships. Other tests I assist with GED/ASVAB/TOEFL. Finally, a frequently used service of mine is proofreading and editing which I have done for 20 years. Experience

I have tutored for 10 years and edited for 20. I meet with all of my students for approximately 30 minutes for free during that time I evaluate whether or not I can help you. I will only take on your needs if I know I can assist you. I have taught in the classroom before as well at both the high school and college level. While I have an extensive education, through a doctorate, I believe that it is raising my children that makes me a great tutor. One of my sons is a Pediatrician, another a mechanic, a clerk, and two are still in school. I relate well to others and communicate in a way that all can understand me.

Hobbies

First and foremost I am a DAD! This is the best job title I have ever had. I am also a husband to a wonderful wife and together we have five children. I love spending time with my wife and kids sometimes just at home and at other times we are out and about. We all love to travel and when you and I meet I will likely be the only person you know who has ever been to the South Pole, never mind having spent almost three years in Antarctica. When I do get spare time, I am often found in my office at home reading and writing. I admire the classic authors from the late 1800's to the mid-1900's. I am a published author of a collection of short stories and also had several works of fiction published in various Literary Journals. I regularly write for magazines, newspapers, politicians, and more.
