Experience
I earned my bachelor's degree in International Business from Eckerd College. Since then, I have years of experience teaching classes in business to all different types of students. I find joy as my students experience their "light bulb moments" and it all suddenly makes sense to them. In addition to academic tutoring, I work with individuals in business on marketing concepts and going forward in new directions. One of my deepest values is to treat all people I come into contact with in any situation with respect, value, and dignity. I have committed myself to making a difference in the educational community by sharing my knowledge and ability to teach and tutor, to achieve mutually satisfying learning goals for each student. I continually encourage my students in using effective communication skills and in taking ownership of their education. I also spend time advocating for students so that they experience meaningful and positive learning experiences. I want to make sure each student is able to experience excellence in their academic endeavors and become lifelong learners. Through tutoring in any subject, I help students develop strong skills in problem solving and technical abilities. Finally, I take every chance I can to encourage my students' sense of self-esteem.
