I feel very passionate about helping those who struggle academically. I think that it is important to share education with all who wish to learn. While I have never had any formal training as a tutor, I have watched and learned from peers who worked as tutors. I am available to tutor middle school mathematics, which is among my favorite subjects to teach. I also tutor US history and social studies. I also have experience tutoring various writing courses, where I help university students write informative and well thought out essays.To be a successful tutor, one must have patience and be willing to properly assist a struggling student. Along with teaching the material, I often compile a series of tests to assess the student's level in a particularly difficult subject. Upon reviewing the test results, I then create lessons aimed at meeting the student's goals and needs.I am a student at Valencia College, but I intend to transfer to the University of Central Florida, where I will study electrical engineering. Along with mathematics, I enjoy playing basketball, baseball, and football. In addition to sports, I am a musically inclined person who loves to play the piano. When I am not pursuing one of these hobbies, I like learning about new gadgets and electronics.
