All my life I have enjoyed science and math. It is rewarding for me to pass on that enthusiasm to my students! I have coached a FIRST robotics team with kids in middle school and high school. I have also been a teaching assistant in mechanical engineering design and robotics at the college level. In the past, I worked with Tau Beta Pi by volunteering at their tutoring center on the UCSB campus.I attended the University of California at their Santa Barbara campus. My undergraduate degree is in Chemical Engineering. I also earned a MS in Materials Science. I am qualified to tutor a number of different subjects, including, biology, chemistry, physics, SAT math, ACT math, life sciences, trigonometry, and calculus.I worked in research labs at UCF in my last position, and have been in or near Orlando for the past few years. Currently, I am working on an afterschool program that teaches STEM information by using fashion tech kits, wearable technology, learning materials, and tutorials. As a result, I am happy to field any inquiries about electronics, sewing, and Arduino.
