Graduated with an Associates of Science in Computer Programming at Daytona State College. Finished with 3.5 GPA and had been on the president's list twice and dean's list once. Currently studying for a bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering at University of Central Florida (expected graduation, 2018). I previously took two years of aerospace engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University before deciding to get a major in what I wanted as my minor (programming) and changing colleges due to finances.
Experience
I am passionate about math, computer science, and science. It's my goal to encourage others to enjoy education and the wonders of the world. I enjoy teaching and helping others. I absolutely love children and am incredibly patient (worked in children's retail for 2+ years). I have previously did babysitting while getting my college degree (ages 5 months to 10 years old). I was active in band (flute), student council, and clubs in high school. I did over 100+ volunteer hours in high school and I was a club president for my last two years. I advanced very quickly in math and science, taking AP Calculus AB & BC and AP Physics. I also took the ACT twice for fun. I am very driven, hard working, and punctual. My 2014 fall semester of college, I was a part time student and held two part time jobs.

Hobbies
I enjoy to play video games, write poetry and fiction, crochet, sew, knit, read, and tinker with programming and photo manipulation in my free time. My personal favorite applications on my phone are puzzle/word games, news feeds for technology and games, and deal hunting/coupon-ing. My ideal career is to be an astronaut for NASA or a private space corporation. I went to space camp for 5 summers in a row and found my passion for life. I was born in Japan (I am an Air Force military brat) and moved to the states when I was 5. I enjoy the Eastern culture and traveling in general. I study Chinese in my free time and hope to start Japanese as well.
