English Literature major, Writing and Rhetoric Minor, and Gender Studies certificate student at the University of Central Florida. I have always loved reading and writing, so my major and minor are very enjoyable. My choice to get a certificate in gendered-related studies stemmed from an Into to Women's Studies class I took freshman year. I love learning about social concepts, and I believe this makes me a more aware person in daily life.
Experience
I have been seen as very helpful in the past to students struggling with English language-related work. In high school, I assisted a teacher with reading/commenting on college essays for students. It was very fulfilling work, and I enjoyed working with others, helping their ideas flow effectively in their papers. I was on President's Honor Roll for the Spring 2015 semester at the University of Central Florida for getting a 4.0 GPA that semester. When I was in high school, I also received AP Scholar with Honors awards for doing well on the AP exams I had taken.
