BS Environmental Science Being a general science degree I took class in all science subjects including bioligy, chemistry, meteorology, marine science, physics, etc. As well as math classes through Calculus 1. MAT Secondary Science Education This degree taught me how to teach and supplied me with numerous skills to reach students of all backgrounds and learning abilities.
Experience
I have been teaching middle school science for the past 3 years. I have worked with 7th and 8th graders and my students came from all different walks of life and abilities. I tutored a 5th grader for 1 year everyday after school in all subject areas. I have also worked with student with special needs in the classroom and as a tutor. I used to do after school and summer camp for over 4 years at a private K-8 school.
