I specialize in Math and Physics for students at middle school up through college level. I received my Bachelor of Science in Physics at the University of Havana in Cuba. I have been working in education for more than thirty-five years in both Math and Physics. Currently, I am working at Valencia College at Orlando as a tutor and a professor in Mathematics. While I love teaching in the classroom, I feel that tutoring offers a more personable and rewarding experience because I am able to work one-on-one with students. Over the course of my career, I have been able to help hundreds of students to reach their academic goals. I personally take ten minutes before and after our sessions to make sure that any questions or concerns may be addressed immediately. I also use this time to go over the goals and expectations of the session or the homework. I believe that I am able to design my teaching style to fit a diverse range of learning styles. In addition to tutoring in Math and Physics, I tutor Spanish and standardized test preparation. When I am not working, I enjoy painting, photography, and traveling. I look forward to working with you.
