I graduate from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in December 2015. I am going to school for Sociology and Education.
Experience
I was a tutor for elementary students for reading and math. I want to be a tutor, because I am trying to be a teacher and I see this as a great opportunity to gain more experience with working with students. My personal calling is to educate and help children and youth. I am currently a senior at the University of Central Florida and in fall 2015 will earn my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Education. Upon graduation I plan to teach our community’s high needs students, and will continue my education. I serve as the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Never Stand Alone, Inc., a 501(c)(3), located in the Central Florida area that promotes long-term healing for college students affected by sexual abuse, drugged unknowingly sexual assault, rape, and harassment. I have experience working in primary and secondary schools, child care facilities, nonprofits, special needs, advising college aged students, producing educational workshops, and presenting in front of crowds. I'm a great communicator and passionate about my career destination. I believe all children are different and need to be catered to differently. I am passionate about developing students both academically and socially. I am a role model for positive communication, relationships, and lifelong learning.
