Experience
I teach ONLY the LSAT. When picking a tutor please pick someone who only teaches the LSAT, who is a professional person who teaches this test full-time - not a soon-to-be law student or some math professor who believes the LSAT is the same as all the other standardized tests simply because it also uses logic. I HAVE HAD HUNDREDS OF STUDENTS COME TO ME AFTER WASTING HUGE AMOUNTS OF TIME AND MONEY ON TUTORS WHO HAVE NO BUSINESS TEACHING THE LSAT. I have taught more than 1,000 students over the past 12 years how to defeat the LSAT. My students consistently add 18+ points after working with me. My students have gained admission to Yale, Harvard, Columbia...all the top law schools. More importantly for many students: I have taken HUNDREDS of students scoring a 139, 145, etc. and have helped them add enough points to gain admission to Tier 1 schools such as UF, Boston College, Notre Dame HOWEVER the vast majority of my students end up at schools in the T14!
