I am currently a UCF Nursing student with 2 completed minors, in sciences and psychology. I have received Dean's list (>3.4 GPA) and President's honor roll awards (4.0 GPA) from the UCF College of Nursing. I love kids and am hoping to go into NICU or pediatric nursing. I am CPR/AED and CNA certified.
Experience
I have been tutoring on and off for 10 years in all subjects. I have experience tutoring from ages 2-22, including special needs and ADD/ADHD students. I am a devoted student but also a devoted teacher, very patient and willing to help. I have always excelled in math; took college algebra and AP calculus in high school. I also scored in the 99th percentile on the FCAT, for math every year and received a 100% on the math portion of the TEAS test (nursing school entrance exam). I have taken many college science courses as prerequisites to nursing school including, Anatomy, health sciences, Physiology, Microbiology, Biology, and nursing courses and received mostly A's in these courses with 1 or 2 Bs. I personally have taken the TEAS just a couple semesters ago, and received a 90% overall score on my 1st (and only) attempt, granting me acceptance to the nursing program. Also I have tutored several pre-nursing students for the TEAS, and they have successfully increased their scores and/or been accepted to nursing school as well. Willing to work with your schedule, (other than times i'm in class & clinical). I have varying times of availability but I am available 7 days a week.
