I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida. I received a Master of Arts in Elementary Education in 2013, and graduated with a 3.9 G.P.A. I am a Florida certified teacher with endorsements for reading and ESOL.
Experience
I was an elementary school teacher for the 2013-14 and 2014-15 school years. I taught fourth and fifth grade during that time, and spent time providing intervention in small group and individual settings with students second grade through fifth. I taught mathematics and science as a certified teacher, but also taught language arts and social studies as part of my internship prior to graduating. During the spring of 2013, I also worked as a student clinician for the University of Central Florida Reading Lab. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy working individually with students and focusing on their specific learning needs in a way that works for them.

In my free time, I enjoy reading a variety of genres of books and writing my own short stories. I am an avid sports fan, and enjoy cheering on my favorite teams whenever possible. I also like the challenge of trying out and creating new recipes in the kitchen, and sharing them with my family and friends.
