My parents came to the U.S. from Cuba as political refugees. I was born in Miami, and later traveled to Orlando, Florida in order to receive my college education. I attended the University of Central Florida, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, and am now pursuing a master's degree in Health Care Informatics.As an undergraduate, my best subjects were in Math and Science. I excelled at Endocrinology, Trigonometry, Cell Biology, and Algebra. I consider myself a Science nut who is good at Math. I offer tutoring in Science most often, assisting students with Endocrinology, Science, Cell Biology, General Biology, Genetics, Plant Biology, Pathophysiology, and Medicine. I have also tutored Math at the elementary level for students in 1st through 6th grade. I also assist older students with Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, and even College Algebra.As much as I love tutoring and offering help to students who need it, I also enjoy having time to myself. I like to spend time outside, particularly going to the beach and playing basketball. I also like to work out and listen to music.
