I attended both Grand Canyon University and the University of Central Florida. I have experience with a wide variety of academic environments. No matter the situation, I have found the best method for teaching is to keep the process as enjoyable and interactive as possible. Students want to have fun while learning. I design creative lesson plans that support higher-order thinking. I am available to tutor in a wide variety of subjects. Some of these include Languages (French and Spanish), Social Studies (American, European, and World History, Comparative Government and Politics, Global Politics, Social and Cultural Anthropology), Philosophy, and Religious Studies. I can assist students in IB and AP courses.It is my belief that, rather than strict memorization of facts, it is critical for students to gain a deep understanding of the subject at hand. They must understand how the topic correlates to real-life applications so they can comprehend the material as a whole. I work to promote this in my tutoring. In my personal time, I like to read and write. I often focus on philosophy and current politics. I am also experimenting with writing a screenplay, and I enjoy playing tennis and swimming. I love to get outdoors when I can.
