University of Central Florida - BA, English Literature in 2015 with a 3.66 GPA. I was also on the Dean's List since 2010 and part of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, which only those with a GPA of 3.4 or greater get invited to.
Experience
I have always tutored my friends in varied subjects, and am currently tutoring my boyfriend in Finite Mathematics. Though I am an English Lit major, I've always been really good at picking up any math with just a little review. I scored a 1290 on the SAT and a composite score of 27 on the ACT, with a 26 in Math and 33 in Science. I want to be a tutor because I want to help people "get it" and feel more accomplished at the end of the day. My goal with my future career is to be a professor because it is my passion to open students eyes. It's very rewarding to me to help others, especially those who need it more. I've been on the Dean's List at UCF since I began in 2010 and have constantly strived for excellence. I've received an A or B in every class I ever took and believe that shows my work ethic and that I make sure to get the job done right. I also went to UCF on almost a completely full ride because of the scholarships that were offered to me for my grades. I hope to gain even more qualifications through this experience.
