Experience
I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Elementary Education and Human Performances. During my time at the university I was surrounded by experienced educators who taught me the importance of student driven learning, hands on manipulatives, literature circles, reading games, and teaching in more than one style in order to ensure every students learning style is fulfilled. I worked for OCPS in a 5th grade position during 2014. I have experience with Kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, and 5th grade. I have gained many techniques, methods, and teaching styles along the way, which are beneficial for helping all students. I enjoy working closely with small groups of students or just one on one. I feel that during small group is when children have the chance to ask questions and when I can really understand the students needs. Tutoring is a great way to boost students learning so they are on track or ahead in their class and I am excited to be a part of that.
