Hi, I'm Maxwell. I am currently a Math major at New York University. I am passionate about math related subjects and looking forward to helping students expand their knowledge in these areas. I have quite a bit of tutoring experience, beginning when I was in tenth grade and continuing throughout my academic career.With my strong mathematical background, I understand that it is important to cater to each student's individual learning style. I understand and embrace the fact that there are numerous different ways to solve one problem. I work hard with my students to find the way that they respond to the best. I strive to help students understand tough problems, not just remember how to solve them. This philosophy comes from a proverb that I believe in: I hear, and I forget; I see, and I remember; I do, and I understand. When I am not tutoring or studying, you can find me reading sci-fi novels, and catching music performances.
