Experience

I have taught about 2 dozen undergraduate-level philosophy courses, including introduction to philosophy, ethics, moral problems, introductory logic, medical ethics, and environmental ethics. I have a strong background in Ancient, Early Modern, and 19th/20th Century Philosophy. In teaching at schools like the University of Memphis, Beloit College, and University of Central Florida, I've had many great opportunities to engage in one-on-one student-teacher instruction, and I am eager to pursue this style of instruction further. Besides regularly evaluating students' written work in my teaching, I also have experience doing freelance editing work, which I enjoyed very much. My research has been published in internationally recognized generalist and specialist journals of philosophy.
