I love to work with young people and believe that working one on one is the best way to ensure success. Since every student has different needs and learns through various mediums, I want to help them learn in the best way possible, and assist them in overcoming any educational barriers they may face. It is my firm belief that with enough care and attention, students can excel in any subject they study.I have been a tutor for over five years, and I worked with students from kindergarten to the college level. I love working with children, and assisting with all aspects of tutoring, from helping with homework to working on projects.I can tutor students in a wide variety of subjects. These include Math (1st grade-8th grade), Reading (1st grade-9th grade), Writing (1st grade-9th grade), Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Languages, Essay Editing, College Essays, Public Speaking, ESL/ELL, Special Education, Spanish 1-2, and Phonics. I am also available for summer tutoring. I am currently working on my degree in Special Education at Broward College. I am also earning a reading and ESOL endorsement as well, and I will have completed my studies by April of 2016.When I'm not working, I love to spend time doing arts and crafts, decorating, and reading books.
