I tutor English and reading. These subjects are my greatest passions because they can help a person a great deal in school and in their personal life. I love reading as it has opened so many new worlds and ideas. Writing, essay editing, literature, history, social studies, religious studies, public speaking and ACT, PSAT, and SAT preparation are my specialties and I am an effective tutor in these areas. I believe that learning is easier when a subject is relevant outside school and when a student is confident enough to think through problems on their own. Currently, I work with middle school and high school students, as well as college students, at Thrive Community Church. I was a preschool teacher for a year. My degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical & Theological Studies, which I received from Palm Beach Atlantic University. After graduating, I went to Haiti with the Haitian Christian Mission. I spent one month as team intern. Now I live in Orlando, Florida and do a lot of reading in my spare time. I also write poetry, work at Universal Studios, and am planning a wedding but enjoy attending rock concerts and playing video games as well.
