As someone who has coached fellow students through tough college courses, I am equipped to handle the hardest material. I graduated from the University of Central Florida, where I majored in both Biology and Biomedical Sciences. I minored in Chemistry. My focus was on the cellular and molecular components of life. Now, I am attempting to get into the university's Biotechnology graduate program. Because I only finished school a year ago, all of the lessons are still fresh in my mind. Science is my main area of interest. Subjects I like to teach include Chemistry and Biology, but I am knowledgeable in other scientific disciplines as well.To become an effective instructor, you must put yourself in the shoes of your students and bring the information down to their level of comprehension. Then, you can build upon what they know. Taking on a different approach in the classroom can make the learning process more interesting and successful overall. This is significant to me because I really like to awaken others' desire for science. Some view a career in this field as an impossible feat. I'd like to change that mindset.Whenever I'm not in the lab, you can find me playing musical instruments like the guitar or piano. I dabble in video games, too, and I do some leisurely drawing.
