I graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Political Science. I also have vast academic experience in courses related to communications, philosophy, and music. Even as a grade school student, I helped tutor my peers. While in high school, I volunteered and taught students in elementary classes as a means of gaining experience in community service. In addition to doing community service, I worked as a counselor in a camp program where I taught children with disabilities. I really enjoyed working with the children. I learned just as much from the children as they learned from me. Furthermore, as a counselor, my children and I were very successful in all of the tasks we completed.I used to work as a trainer for a national telecommunications company. As a trainer, it was my responsibility to motivate and lead by example. I believe that this philosophy is an important life skill for people from all walks of life. It is crucial to find new and creative ways to introduce information, as well as teach in such a manner that it facilitates critical thinking and problem solving. Teaching children to think critically puts them at an advantage in many areas of life.
