Experience
As a tutor, I like to begin sessions by getting to know the student I am working with rather than just teaching the material. I recognize the importance of teaching to the needs of the student in a 1-on-1 environment. Additionally, I want students to feel confident with the material, and I won't end a session unless you know that is accomplished. As a college graduate, I know how difficult many of the advanced science courses can be, for all ages. I often sought out help in certain classes and performed well as a result. Using the techniques that were imparted to me, along with my own knowledge and expertise, I believe I can help students succeed.
