I am certified as a math, science, and general education teacher. For the last 9 years, I have been helping students of a variety of ages and abilities succeed in their academics. My experiences range from private schools to charter schools for students that are considered at risk. I love watching my students grow and become well-rounded members of society. As a teacher, I realize that it is very important to make myself available to my students. Therefore, I make sure to keep my schedule open so that I am free to make arrangements around my student's hectic lives while keeping good communication throughout our relationship. I feel that good communication forms the foundation for an effective student-teacher relationship. I have always gained the most satisfaction from helping students with the subjects that they find challenging. I enjoy being the person that helps them achieve their goals in the classroom. I am a driven teacher that is willing to help any student master the topic of their choice. I am a firm believer in making learning simple for my students. I am aware that math and science can sometimes be complex but, as a good teacher, I can point them in the direction of simplicity.
