I have tutored privately for about three years in addition to tutoring in English classes for Berlitz Language Center for 2 years. I was out of the area for several years but am back looking to work one on one with students learning English as a second language or elementary school aged children in the areas of English, Social Studies , and Science. I have worked in the educational field for about 30 years and as a result I have many tools to draw on and I am a firm believer in "if you raise the bar then the student will rise to meet the challenge ". I expect results even when others believe it's not possible and I get the results I expect through time, hard work, dedication, and patience.
