Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education(1975) at F.T.U.; Master of Education degree(1981) at U.C.F. My teacher certificate (#388344) is valid through June 30, 2015. I have coverage or endorsements to teach: Early Childhood Education; Elementary Education; Exceptional Student Education; and ESOL.
Experience
I taught for 32 years in Orange County Public Schools. I taught 2nd, K, and Pre-K regular education classes for 26 years, then taught Exceptional Student Education students (Pre-K, K, and 1st grade) for 5 years. I have tutored students during school and the summer months and really enjoy working with young students. I like tutoring 1-on-1 because it gives my student the individual attention that he/she requires to help learn and reinforce skills taught in a classroom setting. As a former teacher, I know how hard it is for students to catch up on skills once they fall behind.
