Education
I received a B.S. in Mathematics from Pfeiffer University where I majored in Mathematics and Engineering studies. I graduated summa cum laude in 2010. In my undergraduate years, I tutored college students in College Algebra and Calculus I and II. Additionally, I worked in the writing lab as a writing tutor. I finished my M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University in July 2014 with a 3.88 GPA. After school, I worked in Jacksonville, FL as a subsystems aerospace engineer for two years. Later I took a mechanical design position with Northrop Grumman. Currently, I work in Cape Canaveral as a Systems Engineer.
Experience
I have tutored in elementary math, basic math concepts, pre-calculus, calculus, algebra I, algebra II, linear algebra, Introduction to Materials Science, grammar, and writing. I usually tutor people ages 12 and older. During my undergraduate studies, I participated in the honors program and completed research as part of the Milton Rose scholarship program. As part of my graduate studies at Auburn University, I conducted research in electronics cooling for my job as a graduate assistant.
