I've spent the past year teaching at Acclaim Charter school in Orlando. I was teaching 7th grade science and High School Chemistry. The school closed due to the Charter operator running out of money (not the district). The previous spring I tutored IB chemistry and college chemistry. I was a part-time Chemistry Instructor at San Joaquin Delta Community College before we moved to the Orlando area and love helping students. I tutored in college (including taking classes in how to tutor) and have tutored on and off since then. I taught a lot of algebra during the chemistry classes at Delta and my bachelors are in Chemistry and Biology. I have experience explaining concepts to people who learn differently as both my mother and my sister have learning disabilities. I'm fully aware that different approaches work for different learning styles. I work well with older students and adults, but also have experience with younger students as I taught 2-3 Kids College Classes at Delta college for Elementary/Middle School students. I do offer discounts for more than one student at the same time (small group tutoring) up to a max of 3 students. I feel am good at helping students review concept-wise for AP/IB exams (I have no specific information on the exams themselves). I offer students access to additional lectures that I have personally given via podcast, extra quizzes/tests/exercises that I have used/administered in my teaching of the college courses. I prefer to tutor in Dr Phillips.

Sewing, Reading I like to tutor at Dr Phillips YMCA. I am not available around 8:30 am or 3:00 pm as I have a child to drop off/pick up from school
