Private tutor in Orlando, FL
Education
I am currently pursing a PhD in mathematics at the University of Central Florida. I am specifically studying a branch of harmonic analysis, or theoretical side of signal analysis. Along the way, I have earned a Masters and Bachelors degree in Mathematics. I took a general track, so my mathematics education is varied going from to applied courses such as Mathematical Biology to the pure theoretical side such as Abstract Algebra. I have taken many years of math courses, and I aim to share any acquired knowledge with those who want to learn.
Experience
It is my understanding that no one is bad at mathematics, that there is often a slight gap in someone's understanding due to a variety of reasons, but gaps can be filled. My goal as a tutor is to help you solve problems and fill any gaps you may have. I aim to do this by tutoring you in a way that fits you and I want to be able to share any insight I have with you. Most of the time, what students need to succeed is just one-on-one time with someone who understands the problem. I am here to provide that for you. I want to tutor becauseI have a strong passion for mathematics, and I often love working with students and sharing that passion with others. I have taught a Calculus 1 course and a College Algebra course. I have tutored students in a variety of mathematics ranging from high school level mathematics to Linear Algebra, Calculus 1-3, Differential equations. From working with students over the last few years, I've learned all they really need is just time with someone who can help.

Hobbies
At the moment, I'm interested in gardening. I have a variety I'm taking care of such as a fiddle leaf fycus or a monstera adonsii. Plants have been a wonderful outlet for me during these hard times and I enjoy checking on them everyday. Their growth is often inspiring. My hobbies vary a little, but I'm always interested in learning new things. From bee keeping to mechanic work to development of language. I often come back to learning mathematics though, hence why I'm a graduate student in it.
