Hello, I'm Joseph! I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a concentration in Game Programing, from DePaul University. During my time in college, I quickly came to the realization that the professors were undoubtedly my greatest asset and would be able to lead me to a successful career. I grew fond of the professors who were engaging, patient, and passionate due to their genuine interest in the various subjects they taught. I always felt comfortable asking questions and venturing beyond the scope of projects because the professors were always there to help. Because of the knowledge I gained throughout my college career, I have pushed myself to also share what I've learned with others, thus leading me to become a tutor.
Experience
I have spent many years programming in the various C languages, and have worked professionally using them in combination with other languages such as Java and Python. I understand what students will be required to know, and how to push them further ahead, whether it be in class, or a job. I have applied my skills to various game engine developments, networking, and most recently to the virtual and augmented reality world. Most importantly, my understanding of the languages helps me to make learning them fun and engaging!
