University of Central Florida - Bachelors, Science Education-Biology and Chemistry

I started tutoring as an undergraduate student studying education. Initially tutoring was a requirement in my program, but I really came to love the one-on-one approach and individualized attention to learning that tutoring provides. I have helped students in a number of subjects, including different STEM-related courses, as well as helping students get their GED. After gaining some experience as an educator in the classroom, I decided to be an educator full-time. I was motivated by helping students achieve their goals. I can tutor algebra, nutrition, geometry, physical science, elementary school math, middle school math, public speaking, trigonometry, chemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology, life sciences, microbiology, ecology, environmental science, Latin, reading, writing, psychology, study skills and organization, marine biology, biomedical engineering, and more. I can also help students prepare for the ACT and other exams. When I have free time, I enjoy watching movies, doing crafts, doing yoga, and cooking.
