Experience
My previous tutoring experience is tied into my teaching experience. As of this year, I will be going into my third year of teaching. I have taught at both the middle and high school levels, and I truly want to encourage others and inspire a love of English in those that I tutor. After all, reading and writing are not just essential skills for the future, but they are also tools and vessels for creativity. You can live a thousand lives and travel a thousand places just by reading and writing. I passed the IB program and received a 2050 overall SAT score, and I had a 3.8 unweighted GPA in high school. In college, I still managed a 3.15 GPA despite working full-time.

Hobbies
Now for the fun part! I fully admit to being eccentric, and I make no apologies for that. I love trying new things, whether it's cooking a new Vietnamese recipe or learning to play the ukulele (I only know three chords so far). I love cooking, singing, dancing, music, quirky pop culture references, British humor, and new cultural experiences. Also, I have a love of animals; if owning three cats, a dog, and a snake isn't evidence of that, I don't know what is! I love to make connections to real life and make literature seem relevant, usually through humor or something entertaining, but I also know when to buckle down and be serious.
