I have experience teaching and tutoring. In terms of teaching, I have worked with middle school and high school students on mathematics, and I have tutored students as part of a school-sponsored tutoring program.Specifically, I have had the opportunity to help Orange Country public school students in the capacities of AVID tutor and junior achievement volunteer. In addition to having experience tutoring students attending the University of Central Florida, I have earned a professional educator's certificate for mathematics for grades ranging from 6 to 12. I also have expertise in working with students of various ability levels, which has required me to learn how best to help my students reach their objectives. While group learning focuses on covering specific material, tutoring involves delving into the student's comprehension level and concentrating on the subject matter that they need help in.In addition to having plenty of practical experience, I also have a strong academic background. For instance, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from the University of Central Florida; a Juris Doctor at the James E. Rogers College of Law affiliated with the University of Arizona; a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies at Arizona State University; and an Associate in Arts degree at Simon's Rock of Bard College.
