Experience
I am a senior attending the University of North Florida, where I am working toward a bachelor's degree in history. I hold a certificate from Dale Carnegie Training in professional human relations and leadership, and have served as a volunteer in Guatemala, where I helped bring clean water and food to families in need. My educational and volunteer experiences have helped make me an enthusiastic, empathetic tutor. As a tutor, I am most passionate about helping students achieve their goals in creative subjects like visual arts, reading, writing, and English. However, I'm able to assist students in a wide variety of subjects, including biology, American history, European history, computer science, earth science, ecology, nutrition, social studies, and art history. I also have experience in AP-level studies, and am able to help students taking AP English and art classes. I believe that being able to communicate through creative expression is an incredibly important skill, and I love to help students discover the joy in this vital skill through tutoring. In my spare time, I like to play with my dog, read, create art, practice yoga, and cook tasty vegetarian meals.
