Stephen S.
Private tutor in Orlando, FL
Education
I'm currently enrolled in a graduate mathematics program at the University of Central Florida. I've taken calculus I-III, differential equations, symbolic logic and set theory, number theory, and abstract algebra, and I've finished up my first couple grad classes (advanced calculus, differential geometry, and advanced math for engineers).
Experience
I've been teaching developmental math at a local community college for three years, and before that, I ran the math labs at a different college for six years. I have a degree in liberal arts with a focus in math, and I'm enrolled in a graduate math program at UCF. Also, I'm in Mensa and I seriously destroyed the GRE (169 out of 170 in each subject).

Can Meet
Up to 15 minutes away for no additional charge, Up to 30 minutes away for a flat fee
Hobbies
I love math, movies, and tattoos (of which I have several visible). I prefer the back-and-forth Socratic method to straight lecturing, and I don't believe in "math anxiety," so be prepared to answer questions. NB: My regular rate is for anyone willing to meet at a public place like B&N or the Library. If you want to meet in your home, there will be an extra $10 per hour charge.
